What happened to keeping it Old School?

Our world is continuously evolving...regardless of the fact that we may or may not agree with the trends and norms that wax and wane along the way. Long gone are the days that encouraged face to face conversations, hand written letters, and when phones were only used at home and didn't follow you wherever you went.

Now don't get me wrong, I love my phone and sadly it has become my lifeline and I often feel lost without it. At time, I'm also guilty of falling into the text first, then call mode, but hey, no one is perfect. I have noticed though more and more with some of my students and their friends that our new generation is so much less connected than we were.Which is now speading throughout society... Here are a few gems that I think explain this perfectly...
