Bringing up baby...

It's hard to believe that our little baby is a little over two months old. In the past couple of weeks we've seen him grow, develop, and go through countless changes, some good others not so much. In the beginning he adjusted very easily minus a few snafus with potty training and a nasty parasite, but thankfully he's getting better and learning more every day. If anything, this experience has taught us that we are not ready to be parents!! All joking aside, we do love him so much and here's some evidence of his most recent hijinx!

We are so proud to introduce you to...

The newest and cutest member of the Weiser Krugel familia...

Presenting in all his preciousness Manolo Martinez Esquenazi Krugel

We found out at 8pm on Friday night that we were able to adopt this little one and we've been head over heels in love ever since. That night we picked up some toys, food, and everything that we thought we'd need to care for our new baby. Before we picked him up I was a little nervous that he wouldn't like us but as you can probably tell by the pictures below we had nothing to worry about :)

Manolo even survived his first trip to Austin where he met one set of his grandparents and got to hang out with his Uncle Sherlock. When we came home he spent some quality time with his Aunt Mindy, Uncle Johnny, Aunt Becky, Aaron, Tirs, Ashley, and Uncle David as well. By the end of the day, he was ready for a well deserved nap.

You're probably wondering, Why the name Manolo? Well, here's the long and short answer, my abuelo David, has long called himself Manolo Martinez as his alias, and give that our baby kind of resembles a little old man, we felt that Manolo was a perfect monacre. Needless to say, we are totally in love with our little one and can't wait for everyone to meet him. Stay tuned for more of Manny's adventures in Aggieland.

About Me

For those of you who know me, writing has always been one of my passions, with the exception of my Masters or any ridiculously long testament within the wide world of Academia. I've only had the pleasure of blogging a couple of times, mostly for a few classes in graduate school, but figured it was time to organize my numerous thoughts and musings with all of you out there in cyber land. I created this page because my mind is always running and often times my thoughts get lost in the hubub. Plus, my friends have always said that I'm a great storyteller, so I'd love to share them now with you. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this... Throughout the past 33 years of my life I've seen, heard, and experienced so many different things as well as had many adventures and dream of so many possibilities. But in short, what it comes down to is this..I'm just a little Jubana trying to make a difference in the world. Everyday I live my life to the fullest and have fun doing it. Life can't always be about work or how much money you make. There's so much more to life than that.
